REBOOTED
 last night so it could install the 4 new updates & this morning, still no speakers. Ran the Audio Troubleshooter & it said it found a problem, so I REBOOTED and nothing. Installed the Realtek drivers from Dell & once again REBOOTED and still nothing. So I'm back to where I started, except I have unseen progress  |

Riddle me this,
 I didn't do anything to the PC yesterday after I posted. I wake up this morning & it's frozen in sleep mode. I'm clicking my mouse, hitting the keyboard...nothing. Just a dimly lit black screen (so it was on) and the light on the power button. I even changed the batteries in the mouse but nada. I press the power button once & nothing. I'm very  So I hold the power button down for 10 seconds & it shuts off. I press it again & it fires up. 1st thing I open is Chrome & suddenly I hear a loud notification ding. There's a Winter Weather Advisory  I have no fucking clue why the speakers decided to start working, but I am thrilled that they are back, because working on a PC that has no sound really SUCKS! |
