I hate to say it but this year might be a good one for me. After almost 4 years of soul destroying ear ringing, it really, truly does seem to going away. I went to an allergist in December. Turns out that I am allergic to nothing. Zero. He gave me a nasal steroid which I've had a couple of times before from my GP. The difference was he said only use it at bedtime and don't give up. Keep at it. It seems to unblocking the last little bit of my one ear. Two weeks in to the new regime and I've still got some ringing but it's greatly reduced and getting less annoying. I used to be reasonably smart but the ear ringing took away my ability to think deeply. The thinking properly does appear to be returning and for that I am very thankful. I've had false hope before so I will put the celebration on hold for a while.

Today is the same old for me. I am supposed to go visit a buddy in southern Ontario with some friends tomorrow but I may decide not to as the weather is supposed to be really crappy. This friend drives like he's got the poll position at NASCAR so it's a bad combination.

I took the same experimental dose last night (lower) and today has been quite ok too, except for a bloody headache first half of my day.
Managed to do some work though, and now that it's gone I'm gonna play some guitar, or drums, or both

Great news! Glad for you!
I have tinnitus myself, but for now, it is survivable. If it gets worse though ... (He said while Queen of the Stone Age is blasting out of the speakers )
