I do usually LOVE these type of movies & Danny McBride is fucking hysterical, but other than the dog/pig stuff, which I did HOWL at the rest of the movie was just meh

I can understand that, I let stupid scenarios make me laugh. Like when the father was excited and yelled She listened to me or something like that, this made me because of my troublesome daughter and I could totally relate.
