Question My site has a twist, will it get accepted?

I just made a new site, but it's not primarily a porn site. It's really a humor site. http://www.funnynation.com. I'm not sure if any adult sites will trade links with me because of that. I just opened it on Friday and most of my traffic is from the humor side but I want to attract some adult traffic. I do offer some nipple slips and so on for free. Is it legitimate enough to trade links with adult sites? Thanks.

Hi Anthony1987 welcome to the board

Some here that might have traded with probably won't due to your use of popups.

Hey surfn,

You sure you went to the right site? I don't have pop ups on my site.

Hey surfn,

That wasn't a pop-up. At the top it says "Vote For Us". And there is about 8 links below. One that you clicked on was "Adult Humor". You voted for my site and it took you to humorbomb.com.
It counted a hit in for me. All I did was open humorbomb.com in a new window instead of going straight to their site. You might be wondering why did I put "Adult Humor" instead of "Humor Bomb". That's what they wanted me to write.

Ah, I see now. You probably won't get many sales, if any, with the way you are using FC banners.

I'm not going to disagree with you on that. This is my first site, so i'm thinking of different scenarios with the banners. And right now i'm really just doing PPC. I think i'll just put 1 banner on each page.

If it were me I would use text to link to FC. It will speed the load time of the page and it will look more original that a widely used banner.

Example: On pages where you display nipple slips you could use a simple text link to titvison. Interracial fucking banners will be less effective.

A question on your content. Do you have a license for it?

Heu surfn,

You're probably asking that question because I put funnynation.com on the pictures. The only reason I did that is to avoid hotlinking. I opened this site in February, and people were hotlinking my photos and videos, my bandwidth went through the roof and I had to take the site down in 3 weeks. If you look at the bottom of the page, I wrote "If you're the original author of any material posted on this website and want it removed, please contact the webmaster."

Isn't that the same as saying "I stole your content if you catch me I'll take it down"?

Why not just use .htaccess to stop the hotlinking? It is bad enough you are using other people's images. Stamping your brand on them just makes it all the worse. You are thusly claiming them as your own property. Plus, most of those who are willing to hotlink images don't give two shits about your web address being on an image.
