FPA on ad clicks?

I don't think one more click would lose many sales. I'd think anyone not willing to sign up because they clicked one more time isn't serious about signing up in the first place.

The user may be interested in the gallery pics, but then get to the sponsor and not be as interested. The idea being the fpa would look more like the sponsor's site using their pics etc, and if that's not what they want then they can back out without console-hell and I'd still keep the surfer for other sponsors.

Plus there's the convenience of just having to change one fpa to update a sponsor, instead of all the gallery links.

Anyone ever test both ways on the same content etc?
