Adult Traffic: The lawyers are NOT 100% in agreement on this one. One of the consideration is the canadian privacy laws, which make it pretty much against the law to share private information. Model information is part of a private contract, so it is not clear that holding information to be in compliant with a US law might actually make you in violation of a Canadian law.

Moreover, the "hosting in the us" thing is not entirely clear either. ISPs are exempt (always have been on everything), so where does the publishing actually happen?

One lawyer in miami suggested that Canada would cooperate in this stuff. I am not so sure.

Finally, remember that the proposed "rule clarification" was shot down by the 10th circuit about 5 years ago. They said that making new law is the job of Congress, not the AG. I don't think that the US AG office will go over borders to find a test case - if they even manage to squeeze in a test case before all of my wise US friends get together and toss Bush and Ashcroft out on their ears.
