Linking to 2 different sponsors from a gallery

I have done it a couple of times, but I am unsure if it is effective. I think we are better off just pushing one site really hard rather than saying site A is fabulous, but just in case, site B is nice too.
Of course one could never do that with sponsor content. One of the best reasons to use purchased own content is the freedom of advertising the way you want to. Well, that and actually getting listed...
