And Alex, yes Anne is a big ASSTR supporter and I've linked with Anne because she pays for her own site and has been around for a very long time. There is only one "free" site I link to and that's simply because, like Anne, she and I go back to the days of Adriana's active story list. Otherwise, I will not link to free sites and I tell folks this when they ask for a link exchange.

I do follow link back rules because it's everybody scratching everyone else's back. I'm here for a hobby, if you will, and I just have fun. I like seeing what others are doing.

As for the commercial aspect, I've thought about it many many times and still do. What holds me back are the volumes of CJ sites out there, all the frickin' FPA's, not to mention pop-ups and banner farms. I also wouldn't know where to begin and I don't think I'm interested in a member's area (not immediately anyway). Quality is a big issue for me, I need to be able to stand out in a crowd.

So unless you, or someone you know, are interested in mentoring me, I'm content rocking your commercial world as a "personal vanity site that follows the rules."

This forum is a wonderful help, and I'll be back.
