Wow, that is totally fucking amazing!

It's just flashing and rippling to beat the band, huge waves of light firing again and again, ripping across a third of the dome of the sky in about a second.

About as bright as I've seen it as this latitude, and when your eyes get used to the night just crazy with movement and details. Subtle details, but you can see it's made up of all kinds of layers and shapes.

It's about 1:30 am here in the mid atlantic region.
