The Top Gear team once converted a combine harvester into a snowplough so it could also be used in the winter for something useful (a rare thing: A sensible idea from the Top Gear team - although I think Clarkson went too far when he added a flame thrower). So if a harvester can become a snowplough I guess a snow blower can become a sand blower!

Oooh! A snowblower!! My husband would love it. We don't have any snow yet, but we should within the next week or so. Nice storm yesterday knocked out our power for well over an hour. Kind of romantic to sit around by candle light.

Chronic pain destroys a lot of things like normal routines, sleep, sex, even the desire for life. If you take the pain killers, it will dull the pain but not really get rid of it. Sometimes concentration and memory improve with them, but usually not. My back has not gotten any better in the 25 years since I hurt it (sliding down a full flight of stairs on my back in a fall) and I don't ever expect it will. I do really hope they can fix yours, Greenie, and soon.
