Sorry Opti. I was waiting on an answer to your question myself. The answer is "yes, soon". That functionality is coming. It's already been built and is being tested now. I'll know more about that probably next week. Drop me an email next week for details or if you are an Epoch client, watch your email for the Epoch News.

Still no response from epassporte to my attempt to get a limit raise Rand. 2 emails have been sent to support, as you instructed early in this thread...
Tell me the exact email address you used. Also, resend both of your emails to me please. rand @ paycom.net.

Thanks Rand..

email sent to you from optional at **************.com

Thats great news about one off payments if it happens.. more and more webmasters have epass now so it is good for paying each other for bits and pieces.. but being able to take a small volume of irregular payments from outsiders would make it many times more useful.

Opti

*edit: PS.. I can only find one email in my sent items for CS @ epassporte.com .. maybe something went wrong at this end and I never sent a follow up as I thought. :\

Rand worked out that my request was not processed as I had not used the inbuilt epassporte email client.. I submitted it again yesterday.. I'll let you know.

I like epassporte but I gotta say the "Visa" option is a joke. No offense but noone takes this as a Visa always saying it is not a valid number.

I'd love to be able to pay hosting and other things with epassporte rather than using my regular credit card. Will this ever be fixed?

Ramster, you need to remember that there are two components to every Epassporte account. First, you receive via email an instant virtual Visa account which is ready for immediate use. This account may only be used for online transactions (it's bin number is set to accept only online trans). I've used it to buy several things online. It is a Visa account and works everywhere Visa is accepted online *except* for high risk 5967 transactions unless (currently) they are processed by Epoch. The second component is the Visa Electron Card. The Electron card may not be used online, but is for use shopping anywhere Visa is accepted and the merchant processes their transactions via card swipe. Again, I use mine all the time.

Just make sure you are using the right account based on your purchase. The Virtual Visa for online, and Electron card at your local store.

If you're having trouble with your specific account, drop me a line and I will look into it.

Epass does work at plenty of online and offline places for me... but like Ramster, the one thing I would really most like to pay with it I can't so far... is Hosting.

National-Net said they cant take it for some reason.. a support person told me they were looking into or it was coming.. but I wondered at the time what problem it might be as its not a 5967 I wouldnt think.

Had the same problem with mach10hosting too :\

opti - thanks for your response - looks like using the inbuilt epassporte email is the best way to go.

yeah its wierd tho
i have always been able to use my epass everywhere i have tried offline. Online however i have had problems, i also tried to pay my hosting with it, maybe it is indeed flagged as a 5967 but I also wouldnt think so - wouldnt be the first time i was wrong lol

I may have forgotten about that part lately which is why it's been declined so much. However there are some instances where it is not accepted due to the 4 starting number sequence.

Thanks
