SEO - Quality Backlinks question

I have a few questions about backlinks

1) What is better: 50 links from 50 pages like this www.domainname.com/folder/folder2/page.html
( this is what happens when you submit to link lists 50 times with their receipt, so you have 50 links to them from folders far away from the domain name)

OR is it better to have 1 SIGNLE link from the main domain www.domain.com

Basically, do the hundreds of freesites submitted by a person give the LinkList better ranking than if that person linked to the LinkList from the main domain www.domain.com only ONCE on which the freesites are hosted.


2) is it better for people to link to your main domain www.domain.com
OR is it better for them to link to your specific locations like www.doamain.com/lesbina-sex/

Basically, why would having links to www.domain.com/lesbian-sex/ be better or worse than just having links from people pointing to www.domain.com and then spreading the page rank from there to the different categories by linking to them with internal links.

3) How much does the popularity of the site linking to you count? is it better to get 1 single link from worldsex than a bunch of links from small tgps that got started a few months ago and are not so well ranked in SE yet.

From my SEO/SEM expert:

1) As long as their site is being indexed and they have no script in the link to you, 50 links is good. Plus if they are directories and you are submitting to the relevant categories that is better then just a link on a home page of a domain that isn't relevant.

2) It is better to mix the links into your domain. Better to have links to your domain and to the inner pages.

If you have a spreadsheet that you use to keep a list of directories you submit to (which I recommend) then go through that list and check all the IP's. Save yourself some time, find directories on different class C IP's.

3) Not sure I understand that one. The more links you get, the better. I wouldn't limit myself to just worldsex. Spread it out to the big guys and the smaller. Just check and make sure the smaller sites are indexed. Remember that if they link to you with any type of tracking, you probably aren't getting anything from the link.

3) depends, the more links you get from sites with sites with the more quality the more the value of the link referring to your site.
