ARS Sponsoring Live Panel Discussion On Patent & Intellectual Property Law Today
ARS will be sponsoring the live broadcast of a panel discussion on patent and intellectual property law with some of the top legal practitioners in the U.S.
The live broadcast is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 25 at 6 p.m. EST (3 p.m. PST). Issues to be discussed include: - Overview of the patent application process - Validity of issued patents - Re-examination of issued patents - Enforcement of Patents including: - Cease and desist letters - Licensing - Litigation process, such as discovery, Markman hearings, trial, and appeal - Damage calculation - Contributory infringement and inducement to infringe a patent McKenna will be joined on the panel by Foley & Lardner lawyers Jeff Costakos, a partner specializing in patent litigation, and Paul Hunter, an associate specializing in counseling and patent prosecution of business method and Internet patents.
