Sponsor content help

Ok, this is probably a really stupid question, but since the board says the only stupid question is the one that's not asked...

I'm new to the adult webhosting world, but I have some experience as part of the technical end of the spectrum. (currently work in the IT field)

I have a question about sponsors...I have a decent domain, and a nice starter hosting package, and now I'm looking into getting content from sponsors.

I looked at topbucks, for example, and it seems you need a URL and site, etc to sign up. as an affiliate..

Now, I'm curious as to how I get content from them if I need a functioning site to sign up.

(Maybe I am just missing something? I've been doing research, but I may have overlooked some things. ) Am I missing something here?

It all feels like the chicken and egg issue...
