I want to get into gallery submissions - could I have some advice please

Hey there I am looking to get into gallery submissions. heres just a very rough example, its on someone elses template, but its basically going to look like mine.

Right there we go, a couple of things are missing, first of all the bottom text rachel starr will be linked to my Rachel Starr page.

I will have a banner leading off to the paysite.

First of all. What am I doing wrong, why would a gallery like this first of all be rejected and secondly what do I have to do to improve it and make it better so it will be accepted please?



Also I have a very, very limited knowledge on the tgp's people submit to, first of all I found the hun and persian kitty and will submit to them, but do you know of any others that are any good where I can submit where they would take galleries in the style i have posted up there?

Hi Matthew. First off I would lose all the links at the top (Home, Submit, etc.). Replace "Sample Gallery" with a description of the action (scene).
Lose the "hi's". Enhance the "Click Here for more Rachel Starr". Maybe a little animation (don't overdue it), or just play with the font and make it stand out a little.

Its very easy for you:
spend some days looking at big tgps, looking at galleries.
NEVER STEAL DESIGN nor from fhg nor from other ppl's stuff.
I think you'll quit this quite soon. it needs a lot patience and hard work to build this up.
Nobody will tell you their master plans to help compaetition in you.
i can just advice look , learn, experience, practice. Read boards. submit for 6 months, 1-2-3 galleries a day, and then you can decide if its OK for you or not.

I doubt that would be accepted anywhere. Can't comment on the ads since there isn't any, but you want 2/3 outgoing links max. Most take 1 per 5 pics, some of the biggest like worldsex/al4a etc only take 2 no matter what.

The thumbnails have a boring layout and you can see some sponsor text on the thumbs. Compared to others it doesn't look so hot.

The source code has hundreds of lines of style code as well as javascript including a window.onload() function. Most tgp submit scripts will probably block the javascript outright.

Just browse around the major tgps.

Great advice, thanks so much. Like I said that is the example template I was given, so I will change many of the basic things around like links.

I never knew that some were quite strict on the number of links allowed, so many thanks for that info.

As for the javascript, I dont know how that got there, when I make my new template for example, it hopefully shall not be there, but trhanks for letting me know that.

I think I will look at the big tgps and see the examples, at first looking around I noticed that on the hun, many of the gals were amateurs which I dont really promote, is this the general way the hun has always been?

Get rid of the links back to foxyreviews at the top and bottom. Many TGP's will reject for such links. You're submitting a gallery to promote a sponsor, not drive traffic back to your own web site.

Put a little thought into it if you can. You have < 2 sec for the surfer to decide whether to hit the back button or take a closer look at your page. Try to have something near the top that draws the eye and pops out a bit. Here's my Alison template for that same set of pics:

Man that's sweet. Some of the best solo girl content I've ever seen, too. I have trouble getting away from the boxy looking table layout...this gives me some ideas.
