People...there are 6 teams to talk about and in no particular order:

Russia
Czech Republic
Canada
Sweden
USA
Finland

IF by some bizarre twist of fate (and I don't have to remind the Swedes about bizarre twists now do I?) someone is having an off game or a VERY lucky goal, then they are done.

Let's also realize this: the Europeans didn't sit on their asses while the North American boys did. They played on the larger ice surface while "70% of the North American players played scratch the nuts."

My point is this: the stronger and more physically fit team will win this tournament and if your North American, you will be disappointed if you think its either Canada or USA this year.

Sweden MUST beat Latvia tonite or else Finland will not make it to the playoffs.

And I am not so sure that it will be a easy thing for our boys to do. Latvia played 1-1 against Finland the other nite.......
