While I have the writing part of blogging under control, all these other technical aspects create a bit of a learning curve. Wordpress has forced me to learn about PHP and Mysql databases among other things. It's been an uphill battle and there's still a lot to learn.

yep, your pingbacks are working as expected, which is they show up in the comments section of the blogs you link to.
