Custom recips and custom text? - Page 2

Ok I took the plunge and made my recips for the first time. As you all know I copy the receipts from each LL. I'm not sure if they are ok and look ok could use some opinions. Thanks!

I don't think you'll have any problems with that.

I found the only PITA with custom recips was making them the first time. After that, you'll love it

Yep yep. Looks just like the way I was doing 'em.

As a follow-up: I've made some minor alterations to text in recips on a couple freesites, and so far have not had any problems from LL reviewers. But, again, I've been sticking to general keyword compatability with catagories.

Ponygirl it was a pita in the beginning. Then I came back here and reread the thread, and the way you said it was a life saver. Just coping the whole table and taking out the tags made it go a lot faster! So thanks for that

I love custom text recips and people that mess around the words as long as they are category specific.

I've been reviewing on alien's and it looks weird to see buttons and non-custom text...I'm so used to looking at my text tables, lol.

I don't mind either way, my own recips or custom recips. As long as the anchor text is relevant to the category, that's fine

Thanks! I was so careful not to alter anyone's anchor text and title text. Figured people were trying to target very specific SE terms. Sure, mixing up and varying text is good SEO nowdays, but you never know what others think about that. Thanks for clearing it up

Custom recips are definitely also cool in my book as long as they carry some of the keywords I use in my regular recips. I love seeing alternative recip tables, the variety keeps you going at full speed when reviewing.
