Why would raw sponsor hits jump by so much?
Just a quick newbie question....
A few moments ago one of my sponsor's raw hits for one site suddenly jumped by around 6000 hits while the unique hits stayed at around 90. It happened last week too, but not quite as spectacularly. Same sponsor, different site. Is this bot activity or something? Just curious - for a moment I thought I was getting "Hunned" again! |

I have that happen from time to time as well, and was told that it was some kind of bot. Too bad, hey

well, don't take my word as gospel. for all I know, you're getting f*skered hehe
actually, when I get unusual #s in my stats, I always check my server stats just to make sure nothing funky is going on, just in case. |

I think Ponygirl is on the right track I've seen it happen from time to time too and have alway attributed it to a bot. |
