Friday 16th January and Ecchi is cold.

In the south we escaped the snow that was threatened a few days ago. It fell further north, where it is now beginning to thaw and apparently beginning to cause flooding. My father (who lives "further north") wisely bought a place on the side of a hill so all the flood water will be running past him and not affecting him - he can just look out of his window and watch the people in the valley drowning!

However it is bloody cold, yesterday was the coldest day of this winter, and I have not been outside yet today! But I cannot complain, it has been a mild winter, and even at it's coldest yesterday, it has not been as cold as previous winters.

(P.S. you can tell I'm British, I get control of the "thread of the day" and I just talk about the weather!)

Good morning ecchi and everyone else.

It's does seem like we talk about the weather a lot in these threads. It's going up to a high of -6C today in Toronto. Right now it's -7C.

My calendar is blank today so I don't know what I'll be doing. I suspect shopping for storage space in which to put our accumulated crap during the house sale.

I've got no galleries to submit so I'll have to do a few of those. I'm on my third gallery listed for the Hun -- lots of traffic -- but no sales so far. How times have changed.

Have a great day!

Chilly, overcast and a bit foggy this morning here.

Just as I was getting to head out to the gym yesterday a friend came over so instead spent the afternoon watching TV show on Netflix. She turned me onto the show "Raising Hope" which I loved.

Doing Foxy's updates in a bit and then going to the gym and then back home to work.

It's by the same person who did My Name Is Earl. In fact, the cast of that show appear on an episode of Raising Hope.
