Morning from the house with the 10 gallon a day gas habit, just got in from fueling the generator.
Not much going on. It rained this morning so now it is a bit sticky here but the ceiling fans really help. At least tornados aren't much of a problem here and we do get days of advanced notice when a hurricane is coming. Next door neighbor on my west side is refusing to cleanup the east side of his yard because a few of the debris are from my trees so he says I have to do it. Since the wind was blowing from the west everything piled up on his side of my hedge including a large speed hump sign from the cross street and a few large branches from up the street. He is such an asshole. I can't even see his yard from my property because of the large hedge and fence so fuck him and his attitude. Other then running a few errands I should be around most of the day working. Espresso is up |

Morning all
Saw a funky ass building yesterday. It's the same architect (Santiago Calatrava) behind it as Turning Torso in Malmö. http://www.lesarts.com/ http://www.jorgetutor.com/spain/pais...es_ciencia.htm http://www.jorgetutor.com/spain/pais...es_ciencia.htm Doesn't the opera house look like an offspring from Dart Vader's helmet and a lizzard? |

Why peanut butter, but not walnut butter? It's rather disconcerting, isn't it?
Good morning. After watching my wife rake the backyard for a while yesterday, I started the lawnmower and ran over the rest of the leaves, mulching them into nice small bits that cannot easily be raked. I hate raking. I much prefer letting the earth's debris rot than go through the effort of removing it all. I do, however, enjoy dumping some of it at the curb, blocking my idiot neighbors' ability to park in front of my home. I'm wondering if civilians can purchase those spike strips the cops are so proud of on the car chase shows.

You could have Frank as your neighbor who in last year's hurricane came banging on my front door in the middle of the storm bitching that my ficus tree had made a mess of his yard when it fell over and went through my roof. Then when I paid to have the tree stump ground both on my property and his he bitched about the mulch that was left on the ground. I'm just sorry that more of my branches didn't end up in his yard this year.

You know removing the oil filter of that car parked in front of your house would probably put and end to it driving up and parking there.

My car just passed it's annual control thingy so it's good to go for another year. And I should really stop going to bars on sundays... |

Tell him or her not to take it too personally. I'm sure a great many submitters felt the very same way. I'm "hard" and proud of it.

Good Monday Everyone
I spent a couple hours pretending I was Cleo yesterday - seems the wind knocked over a few trees & we had no power for a couple of hours. Of course, I was down in the Pool House when it went off & the generator isn't hooked up to anything down there, so I had to rig up a couple of extension cords so I could stay down there watching HD football & The West Wing |

Morning
We had a bit of wind last night as well. We lost power but only for a few hours. It was a good thing it happened in town. Our village has it's own Electric Company with really nothing to do until the power goes out. So when it does, they are on it really quickly. I can't believe I slept this late. |

Morning everyone!! I took an easy weekend, and somehow managed to roll my ankle. It's not too bad, just a little sore, and driving is a little bit more painful now.
I hope that's not a sign for how the rest of the week will go! |

Yeah its morning...
I don't really have all that much to talk about other than the fact that after my proline ticket for NFL came up one game short yesterday (fucking refs in the oakland game), life is pretty much status fucking quo.

Morning/afternoon! Well the Bucs didn't show up yesterday either.. Maybe next year!! Got to meet my daughters new boyfriend though. Hot damn is all I can say! The Bucs game sucked but looking at him helped some. If my daughter only knew the thoughts I was having about him yummy.|shocking|
Well I probably won't be getting a whole lot done this week as hubby is home. I gave him a to do list so I can get some work done today. Have a great day all! |

Yeah... Monday. Ass load of things to do, I am going to be awfully scarce for the rest of the month as I go through a pile of shit that needs doing. I got a cold on the weekend too, which double sucks with nuts on top. What can I do?
Anyway, more bitching and whining followed by actual work. Alex |
