Happy Valentine's Day
Good morning and Happy Valentine's Day
 We are getting pounded with snow this morning. I think we have about 16 inches right now and it's not supposed to get bad until later today. Nothing quite like a good nor-easter coming into town  The last good one was a few Christmas Eve's ago when we got 4 Feet overnight. The first and only time my truck got stuck in snow.Anyway, with all this snow and being Valentine's Day, I will be scarce most of the day |

Good Wintery Valentine's Day Morning!
Just got up and looked outside and it looks like today is gonna be a write off as well here in toronto. Oh well, at least we finally got our first snow storm. I wonder if those groundhogs saw this coming...

And happy day to any Hallmark shareholders, as well. The evil people who live inside the glowing box tell me that I should expect 18-36 inches of snow today. Guess they can't narrow it down to a more specific target. The schools are closed and the wife called off work, which is a true rarity. (She's not like me - she has an old school work ethic.) Getting to work would have been easy this morning. Coming home tonight would have been treacherous. So I'll be spending my day playing with the new snowblower she authorized me to purchase last night. I'm loved. Or at least, not wanted dead yet.

 Happy Anniversary to the MMLs Don't get none on ya!!  Just another day in FAKE paradise here.. everything is closed off or blocked or taken for the All Star Game on Sunday. Palms is the official home of the NBA in Vegas and as of yesterday they had their entire parking lot blocked off so i had to park on the 3rd freaking floor of covered parking for our pre-ASG vendor meeting.. and apparently our infamous mayor, ex-mob lawyer turned politico, Oscar Goodman is going to announce the building of some huge sports facility for either a pro hockey or B-Ball team here at Sunday's game. Congrats to the MML's.
Hope you all get VD today, or have happy VD or whatever it is that you are suppose to have today. We took the day off yesterday and went to a small B&B for the night and just chilled, didn’t quite get the rest we wanted, but we tried. We retuned home just a few minutes ago to find out that we must have lost power last night as our computers were all off and our DVR's are all fucked, so I get to deal with that now and all I feel like doing today is get more sleep. 74F and breezy, suppose to get in mid 30's as the low this weekend, so I need to bring the plants back inside. Oh good, DVR’s are “fixed” now…. nap time... |

Happy Aniversary to the MML's My oldest son who doesn't come visit his Mom as much as I think he should left me a message on my anwsering machined this morning. It said Happy VD and I love you Mom  He went on to say he did not want to wake me up and told me to go look in the mailbox. There was a beautiful card in there.. 2nd day snowed in here. We ended up with 14-16 inches of snow and had 30-40 mph winds all of yesterday and last night. Worst snow I have ever seen in my life, first time any snow storm here has been officially called a blizzard. My dad says its the worst since the blizzard of '78 which was a couple of years before my time.
Here's a pic of my back door and patio, thats all snow, haha.
