keyword and traffic?

Ok well I finnaly started getting some good google traffic. But the thing I can't figure out when I look over my stats, for the keywords used by the SE, is when I search on those engines for the keywords. I'm not listed with them, when I look in my adwords account I have no clicks or impressions from those words. I'm not complaining and yes I have tried looking over googles country seach pages also, but still no listing. Anyone have any ideas why I show traffic from those keywords when I'm not showing me on the list? Could it be one of those random time of day things when google puts up what it thinks to be the best result for that time of day?

That's just me typing in random searches and searching for your sites through the stacks.

As far as I can tell I get nothing but SE traffic from page 273+ It's all those freeloaders who have figured out how to work the search engines and find my gallery pages.

How far back are you looking? Some surfers will go back four or five pages on a SE search.

Or more.

For the small sites I've noticed I can only see my sites on page 1 in a search immediately following a referral from a SE. Seems to me the spiders just don't have very long attention spans.

No matter though. It's nice knowing spiders are actually munching on my sites, even if their interest in me is fleeting, at best.
