First day of December and Ecchi is poisoned.

I am painfully aware of the experience of waking up and suffering from the effects of alcohol poisoning, but tomato poisoning???

Today I leaned 4 new facts:

1. Tomatoes are poisonous, but there is so little toxin in them that you have to eat a hell of a lot of tomatoes to get poisoned.

2. Tomato concentrate contains a lot of tomatoes in a small quantity of concentrate, because most of the water has been removed (hence the name "concentrate").

3. A pint of tomato concentrate contains a hell of a lot of tomatoes (see point 1 above).

4. When you have a whole pint of tomato concentrate in the fridge that is nearing it's use by date, it is not a good idea to dump the entire pint in a meatball sauce to go on a meal for one person then eat the whole lot yourself (see points 1 to 3 above).

Which is why I have spent most of the morning on the toilet as my body wisely (but unpleasantly) tries to get rid of all the poisonous tomatine and solanine (the toxins in tomatoes) that I poured into it last night.

There may be a localised water shortage in London later today, caused by the number of times I am flushing the toilet!

Those of you who object to me giving "too much information for comfort" about my current digestive disorder should consider starting the "thread of the day" occasionally. It has been over a week since anyone cared enough to do this, so I though I had better step up to the plate. And the only interesting thing in my life recently has been this case of the shits. (And yes, I am aware that I am probably using the word "interesting" quite inaccurately.)

Typical first day of the month stuff on the agenda and chiropractor appt.

Holiday was great with weather around 80F which made it nice for visiting family.
