To try again at a failed attempt from 2005 (not b/c it can't work but the webmasters never got together)

The basic philosophy is to jerk the surfers around till they get mad for getting nothing and they grab their CC to signup. Hence the name CJ (Circle Jerk) CJ = Circle Jerk and about 80-100% to trades. Also can be used to pump your tgps/mgps.

1 exit console max and no entry console

The niches will be teen & general.

Whats the point of spinning surfers around and around like that if they only end up at another bullshit TGP instead of your sponsors site?Besides isn't that something that would work best with your own network of CJ sites anyhow?I guess don't really get whole CJ thing.

you and the above guy obviously missed the "traffic pump" part. Modern CJs are used to send all the bullshit traffic to your low or no skim sites. Think of it as a filter, not just by its title

I'm known to be terribly dense at times, but I've never been able to understand how that works. If it's bullshit traffic, I'd rather not attract it in the first place rather than send 'em spinning.

OTOH, someone must thnk that CJs work, 'cause there still seem to be hundreds of 'em out there, and none of the links seem to filter anyone anywhere but another CJ. Why even mess with using that bandwidth? I'd love to have it explained to me.

I don't ever remember this working for anyone anytime anywhere. Anytime you deceive your visitors, they are not going to grab their CC to signup, they are simply going to leave and never ever return. Dont' even think of them clicking on a sponsors link. What might have worked marginally in 1997 ain't going to work now -- surfers are a whole lot wiser.

Have you ever wondered why LLs like Link-o-Rama and Tommy's and a handful of others have been around for over 10 years and are still in the top 10? Look at their inbound traffic. Is it from a lame CJ? I don't think so.

The point I was attempting to make to you is that this method has been tried before and *possibly* worked for a few. I HATE sites that do nothing but run me in circles. Why would I ever want to build one, be a part of one, or even encourage one?. What you choose to do with your visitors is your business. There are a good number of newer webmasters here that are quite impressionable, and really don't need to be lead down your path.
