Did anyone notice my email bouncing? webmaster [at] pleasuredelivery.com
Hi all,
Someone brought to my attention that my email was bouncing when he approved my submission. Since then I have conducted various tests emailing forward and back with different friends and all seems okay. However I *seem* to get slightly less emails after each submit since I switched the host. So if anybody notices a problem with that please let me know, I'm trying to find out if it was just a hickup or a more serious problem (which at this point doesn't seem to be) Thanks y'all!

Ok thanks Maj. Stress, I will surely appreciate the info. I will put up a ticket, and I'd like to include as many details as possible so they can take care of it right away.
That other person, would that be Vasi (on vidsrealm.com)? We are hosted with the same company, and althought the web part is on different servers, I belive they have 1 email server for all their clients on shared plans. Please email it at r_iohan [at] yahoo.com so we can submit them tickets for they to look into asap, it's likely this is affecting more ppl then just us, or maybe it's some security feature they've got, which would be sucky Also please CC it to my pleasuredelivery email. Im curious if it works if it's sent directly from outlook instead of "by script" (that seemed to work in the past). Thanks.

Johnny R,
Yep, that's the other one. I figured it was an issue with your host since I've never had that problem with either of you before. |

Heck knows, I'll post a ticket with the error once I receive the email, and we'll go from there.

The way I see it pretty much with dynamic IP's can't send me mail. WTF? I'll ask them to see if they can turn this protection off for my account, but I don't think they will. If anyone has any ideea how to handle this, let me know.

A reverse DNS entry is meant to keep email cloaking spammers from sending emails that 'appear' to come from your domain. Ever get a spam from your own email address? In order to prevent spammers from getting your server on an ISP's or even global spam blacklist, your host can add the reverse DNS for your domains, but that's something that is typically not automatic. If your host doesn't know what a reverse DNS entry is and doesn't recognize that particular error, RUN! AOL loves to bounce emails back for the lack of a reverse DNS entry. I've found it simpler to just not email anyone who uses AOL.
