Good Thursday Morning Peeps!
Rained a bit it the morning, but now it seems to be clearing up. This might turn out to be a beautiful day still, so fingers crossed for that.
It's mid-day here actually, but coffee is still hot. Got a shitload of work to do for the university, including writing an article on ecommerce and free shopping cart software... Gotta love zen-cart, God bless open source. Also got a new exciting project going on and I can't wait to start working on that too, but more on it later. Hope y'all have a great day!

Actual morning here. Still dark too. Going to be a hot and sticky day so nothing planned for outside except maybe an errand or two later. Aside from that, just some work to get done. Wishing everyone a very good Friday Eve.

Sun is just coming up here and it is looking like it will be a beautiful although sticky day. Good day to enjoy the outdoors looking through a window from the air conditioned indoors.
Wondering how bad this recession is going to get here. Already more foreclosures this year then all of last year. Just a day of work and errands planned. Going to hit the tanning bed today and even out the farmer's tan that I've gotten from kayaking. |

I still have a lot of off line work to do and also some setting to figure out on my home server. Have about 5 free sites to finish and submit (hope to get them all done by the weekend and get back into the groove) Still dark here (4:15 AM) so I have no idea what today is going to be like, I just hope for a sunny day. Good hockey games last night. The Senators lost but that's ok, the goalie actually played well. I feel good we have a chance at winning this series. Good Thursday Peoples
I spent most of yesterday sleeping again & then watching 6 hours of hockey. I feel kinda decent so far today, so here's to not napping for more than an hour   The Bitch has a lot of stuff going on today - the couch we bought less than 2 years ago has decided that I'm too fat  I have the feeling there's no warranty on it, which means I'll be yelling at some poor service guy about the quality of a couch he didn't build  My niece is also coming over for a visit after school & I think there's another person coming to the house to annoy me or disrupt my work/sleep, but my memory is really fucked these days  |

My bestfriend from out of state is in town so we are getting together this afternoon to celebrate both of our 44th birthdays, his was 13 days ago. |

for a few days we are having perfect weather.. hard to 'Wake Up People" when it's mid 70's in the day and 50's at night.
 I saw the most surreal incident yesterday. it was like gorilla theater but live and in front of me. Traffic was kind of backed up on one of the main east/west routes and the city can't figure out how to sync traffic lights so that doesn't help with the traffic flow. Anyway apparently 2 cars in front of us decided to whip down the bike lane and try to squeeze in traffic ahead.. and neither were able too so they both at the same time popped back in the lane right in front of me except the 2nd car HIT the 1st car. They both stopped and all the people in the first car jumped out and started beating the crap out of the 2nd car itself.. kicking the windows, breaking the back windshield. It was so bizarre and people here thinking nothing of pulling out guns and shooting.. so I turned off while they were still honking, beating and screaming at the car. No full moon to blame just CRAZY assed drivers. Anyway we were very cautious the rest of the day and since there wasn't anything on the news this morning..i'm guessing they didn't start firing into the car. ....So hopefully my trip to the post office and bank will be uneventful today since I skipped both yesterday and went straight to lunch. Let's hope the biggest drama in your day is an unexpected sponsor check in your mail box!! |

Early afternoon everyone. Late start as I just slept right through my alarm. Ugh. Morning started off shitty and then I got a call from my tax guy and I owe so much less then I had set aside. That turned the day right around.
That and the painting I did to the kitchen last night turned out real nice.Now if I can get my designer to wrap up this one project tonight properly I'll feel real good taking off tomorrow early to go back to phoneix for a lot of drinking and watching cars circle. Oh that and getting the webstore functioning properly on the new server. Hopefully it's just a mysql issue. Have a good one. Cheers, B |
