Just got out of bed

I went to see Milk Inc. yesterday. Not really my style of music but I enjoyed their show anyways. Since the female singer is a good friend of my sister I was kind of obligated to go watch one of their shows. I think I drank a little bit too much Cava (Spanish champagne).
Not sure what I'll be doing today.

Good Morning!

Homemade Buttermilk Biscuits, gravy, cajun sausage, grits, and pecan praline coffee now being served. Following breakfast with a monster buzz on the ride to the Big Easy, then it's the regular gumbo and black forest on tap til kickoff.

After the game I think I'll pick up a few pounds of fresh gator filets I saw on sale for 5.99 a pound. After all it is still barely National Alligator Month and i'm craving a nice Alligator Sauce Piquant for supper tonight.

Still in bed but trying to become vertical...

No digging in the dirt for me today or at least that is my plan. Spent yesterday finishing up everything except painting and today is looking like rain again so the painting will have to wait until we are having betting painting weather.

Finally watched Hairspray yesterday. Mostly just wanted to see John Travolta in drag wearing a fat suit but found the movie surprisingly enjoyable.

Doing the gym thing in a bit and then going to try to get some work done before friends start dropping by later this afternoon.

Today may be our last without power. We had trucks and worker bees all over the neighborhood yesterday. Mostly tree trimming crews, but they were saying that they thought we'd be back on the grid today some time.

Good Sunday Peoples

My foul mood has subsided

I spent a couple hours yesterday over at my step-daughter's hooking up speakers (which reminds me, I need some different wires) & setting up various electronics & computers. Then I started to clean up the pool house in prep for next week's fantasy hockey draft.

I also listened to the new Metallica album a couple of times...it's growing on me (except The Unforgiven III: Enough! We get it. They're never going to be forgiven!)

Lots of football on the agenda today - too bad Arizona @ NY Jets is the only fucking game I can watch at 1

today will be much like yesterday.. work -- break to go to banking and grocery -- back to more work and maybe some TV tonight since it's the new season for KOTH, Simpsons, Family Guy etc.. tho i loathe American Dad (except for the Alien)

As a side note: While I didn't have time to run my stats .. I don't think anyone took the Chiefs in todays games over in the football pool.

Anyone here use/know someone who used Salvia divinorum, an herbal psychotropic drug (like legal peyote??) inquiring minds..

Morning all. Ran down to WalMart this morning and bought a usb card reader for my camera card, and ordered batteries for the camera on ebay. Why would walmart sell casio cameras and not the batteries?

Tried to take my weight pic this morning, and the camera was dead, although we charged it day before yesterday. Hoping it is just the batteries, and/or cradle not working, and not the camera. I like it, 10 megapixels and easy to use.

Leaving for my Sunday morning commitment soon, then back home for some porn and soap pouring. Going to make some extra molds of my kokopelli soap so I can make them faster. Hoping to have a few 100 ready by the end of the month for the 3 week blitz of craft fairs we have coming up.

its 6:41 eve here!
We woke up this morning with the security alarm getting off....my son forgot to shut the alarm down when he entered the livingroom and because the noise was so loud he hide in the kitchen, so hubby and me jumped out of bed to find my son (who took the keys for the alarm out of our bedroom)..i can tell you that waking up with so much noise isnt very helpfull to get in a good mood

Stil i took the time to draw some eyes on my feet to make a pic of my weight.
Further it was again painting and now i am gonna work on the reviews for today and tomorrow, because i have a realy busy offline to do list (working my ass off with sanding the second floor things)
