Search engine spam or just good optimization?

What do you folks think of this:

http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&ie...mbitches&meta=

Basically every spot on the first two pages of results except for two are all from one person, and they all redirect directly to the person's affiliate code. So obviously there is cloaking, redirecting going on, which is against google's rules.

So do you file a spam complaint to google or suck it up and try the same spamming techniques as this person? Any thoughts?

I have worked hard to get top spots under certain keywords building legitimate sites with real content on them, so seeing this sort of thing ticks me off.

Report them... redirections and cloaking are against Google's policies..

http://www.google.com/contact/spamreport.html

[my opinion]

These people are thieves stealing from me and you..

There is not skill to what they do
There is no SEO

It is brainless spamming..

eg - the 115,000 doorways this person has on one domain

[/my opinion]

Yeah- look at #7 - the only one with the Cached version available. Not the best cloaker.

You can report them but Google likes to tweak the algo to catch as much as they can automatically. Cloaking should get some attention especially if you get a screen shot and have the links to prove it.

If you want to see a cloaked page, you will need to install Offline Explorer Enterprise and put following agant identification in its options: Googlebot/2.X (+http://www.googlebot.com/bot.html) . Then you can download real page

In this case, I am pretty sure Google will take action.

I haven't seen anything like this in ages.
