Boilsoft Video Splitter Question

Here's the scenario...I downloaded some NastyDollars movies and broke them up into clips...so all the files were named title_chunk_1, title_chunk_2, title_chunk_3, etc when I look at them in the output folder...I load them in winamp and they're all named the original file still without the _chunk_#. So how do I change this so I'll know which clips I want to use in my freesites? I had this problem with kink videos and figured out that I need to right click the file and change the title on the summary tab and that solved it for KINK.com videos only...that's not working with NastyDollars movies...any ideas? Thank you in advance

Can't help you with boilsoft. I had to many problems with their product (encoding and file size issues). I settled on video charge on the advice from some board members. Well worth the $100 or whatever it cost me.

You just want to rename the files? You should be able to right click and Rename them.

I have video charge also...that splits videos? I just use it for making thumbnails.....

Ramster...I do rename the files prior to splitting them...after being split, if you look in the folder, the files are named title_chunk1, title_chunk2 etc....but when i load them in winamp to preview them...each chunk is showing the title to be just the "title" and no chunks....this is for nastydollars videos only...what I do is split them, preview them and then say, okay, I want chunks 6, 8, 11, and 15 for this gallery but with nastydollar, I'm not able to distinquish which chunk i'm looking at because the chunk isn't in the title of the file in winamp....does that make sense? Makes me think I should just get away from nastydollars =) I'm open to any advise....

okay...messin' with it, i found the solution which I swear is something I've tried before that didn't work...when you right click a video file and select properties...there is the general and the summary tabs...on the general tab, you have something like this: bumper_salsa1_big.wmv and on the summary tab I had the same thing so when you split the video with boilsoft, this: bumper_salsa1_big.wmv is still on the summary tab and that's the name winamp is picking up....I just deleted that field and now the bumper_salsa1_big_chunk1 etc is showing up as the file names because there's nothing in the summary to override it...thanks for witnessing my pyschosis
