MrMaryLou has nothing and I have a headache. I wonder if he would like to swap with me?

Not sure what I'm doing today. If this headache goes away I'll probably go to the gym and then maybe go for a bike ride too. Whatever I end up doing it will most likely involve time away from the computer since I seem to have a bad case of eye strain today.

Good Morning,

Well, I decided that today is the day I quit smoking. I am going to use the Nicoderm patch and hope for the best. I will try and stay busy and change my routine a bit so i don't have to think about smoking.

I had a buddy come by late late last night and we got tremendously stoned on some stuff like I ain't never smoked. Now I've started tocome down and wound up with an epic case of the munchies. I already ate 3 ham and cheese sandwiches and a couple of turkey sandwiches and my body is jonesin for some ham and eggs. I'm so full now I could throw up, but I'm off to the kitchen to cook breakfast so I can start planning lunch.

Don't smoke the blue begonias, they turn the paper a funny color.

Yesterday I decided that I will do something extremely stupid!
We have a cross-country ski race, Vasaloppet, here in Sweden that is the worlds longest and biggest. It's 56 miles long.
I've thought about it for a few weeks and for some strange reason it appeals to me.

Do I even like cross-country skiing? NO
When was the last time I was on a pair of cross-country skis? 28 years ago.
How much did you ski then? To the neighbors house and back. I might have even done it twice!
Are you trained now? NO

Morning All. Woke up at 6am starving, so here I am. Just heard the coffee maker beep, glad for the coffee. I'm tired today.

MadHatter pressure tested the water lines in the greenhouse yesterday morning while I was working on a non-adult project for a client, and we missed gluing a joint. Guess it shot water all over. Got it glued up and it works fine.

We hook up the evaporative cooler this morning, then I start my big planting frenzy. Bought large shallow tupperware tubs to plant lettuce, radishes, and green onions in. Can't wait until I can can start harvesting them. Yum. I'll plant a new row or box every week, so we have new stuff weekly that is ready.

Other than that, just submitting galleries, finishing up and submitting another AVS site.

TekAngel, good luck on the quitting! MadHatter quit 12 years ago using a patch. You can do it!

Hope everyone with a headache feels better soon.

Going to grab coffee, and get to work.

*cough cough*.. I got a headache just reading some of these posts AND all the smoke from FanTC...and I once snowshoed in Central Park so even the thought of cross country anything gives me a bigger headache.

Back to School today and it's the end of the 3rd semester but the RugDawg's grades are looking good..he's even got a C in Algebra which I'm ecstatic over.

Today is supposed to be the hottest day of 2008 so far and we are looking at 85 degrees. I think i need a window A/C to help me survive the Summer.

Here's hoping all those headaches turn into $pectacular idea$. Tek Angel.. good luck with the stop smoking thing.

I think yesterday was the 1st day in about a month where I didn't even have an urge to take a nap

Of course, I woke up today kinda sore & yawning, so we'll see how it goes (and no, 5 weeks later, I still don't have the new apnea machine they said I need)

Make sure you have ZERO smokes in the house & stay away from other smokers of possible. Every time I tried to quit with smokes in the house, I'd end up rewarding myself for not smoking during the day with a smoke before bed

Good luck with quitting TekAngel hope you manage to quit . Well just got back from the Doc and i guess im in for some Abdominal surgery ( for a on going issue) and some therapy for my whiplash.Asi haven't been getting any better .So i guess i will be living in the lazy boy for a bit and working on sites. A few naps in between ( the pain meds make me sleepy)
