Successfull Blogging

I'm curious if there is anybody who successfuly has been blogging say around a year now and made some real $ ($500 / mo +) with only hard links avoiding buying traffic?

been blogging about 8 months, make in that neighborhood for the last few.

adultmix, I think you also have to look at blogging as a way to assemble surfers and add to your network of sites and attractions. The blog itself might not make $500 a month, but it might give off enough traffic to other sites and projects you are working on to give a net $500 improvement in your bottom line.

Only blogging for cash in my mind would be like selling ice cream but not having any cones or bowls to put it in.

well, the thing is i'm doing designs (as u can see my sig) and i wanted to start smth in my spare time.. so i considered 30 minutes a day would pay me $500 i'd be happy

30 minutes a day will only pay you $500 a month if you can find traffic. You get traffic by trading links, blogrolls, and by having content people actually link to just like that - plus being SE positive is good, right?
