Why am I blacklisted :)
Just decided to check that good ol' blacklist and sure enough I managed to come up on it. Here's the few sites I've submitted. I do make the pages in a 755 sized table.
http://www.69blue.com/fs/heather/index.htm http://www.69blue.com/fs/taylor/index.htm http://www.69blue.com/fs/milan/index.htm http://www.69blue.com/fs/elen/index.htm http://www.69blue.com/fs/fiona/index.htm http://www.69blue.com/fs/destiny/index.htm http://www.69blue.com/fs/nika/index.htm As I said, I make the pages in a 755 pixel template...so it doesn't go over the 800 rule. Only thing I can think of is that you're seeing the background tile on a few of the pages might make it look larger then the 800 pixels. I know the Milan one was listed at link-o-rama. The rest of the pages have been listed and accepted at hoes, 2 at persian kitty, I think most got accepted at Cleo's....so I'm not really sure why or who blacklisted me. So, any feedback on this I would appreciate. |

I just set my screen resolution to 800 x 600. Only 1 of the pages scroll bigger then 800...that happened to be the first page I wrote...so I'll accept that one as an error.
The rest however don't scroll at 800 x 600...the only thing I think you're seeing is the background image I use for the page...as I try to design for 800 x 600 but also try not to abuse the viewer that uses a higher resolution with a lot of blank space. So I do use a background tile. However, as I said, I design all my pages in a 755 pixel table...so...I just don't see how it's possible that it's breaking the 800 rule. |

You have to keep in mind that there are auto-margins too, so it's not just the set width. If you make them maybe 740 then it would probably fit ok.
There used to be a little program around called BrowserSizer that will make your window an exact screen size so you can tell before you submit. Your HTML editor might also include a way to set a specific size (I know mine does, HTML-Kit)

It was me - sites like this caused us to put you on there:
http://www.69blue.com/fs/destiny/index.htm 755 is also a bit too close in some cases - try using 750. PS - take a look at this page: http://www.69blue.com/fs/nika/main.htm The table/cell where the gallery links are looks to be left aligned & that ad in the middle cell is all messed up |

Sorry about the one page being an error, but it was my first one that I wrote and when it didn't get accepted but then the second one got accepted I just assumed that a 755 pixel table was acceptable and it was the content that got the first page rejected. Can I ask, is my use of a background image causing the problem? Cause I did just check all the other pages and they fit 800 x 600. So, how do I get off the blacklist? |

755 does cause a scroll at times, that's why we say use 750.
I'll get you off there today |
