Greenguy Stats Updated - 2nd Monthly Run Is Now Online
I'm posting these a day early because I think I'm gonna take most of the weekend off
This run covers CCBill programs that have No Trial memberships/joins. In the past, I've tried to explain to people that to run revshare stats properly would be a pain in the ass. Well, my thoughts have not changed much & once you go & look at all the info that I posted so that this all makes sense, you'll see what I mean. Like I've said many times in the past about revshare programs, it's not just your ratio of sales to clicks. You have to take into account how many of those sales rebill & how much money your making per sale. Take DP Bucks as an example (and sorry for throwing them under the bus) I'm converting at 1:206 - pretty good right? Well, if none of those sign ups rebill, it sucks & you send up with $12 a sale. At the other end of the spectrum is a program like X Fusion Cash. Converting at 1:860 isn't anything to brag about. But when 27% of the member rebill at least once, you're up to a very respectable $34 per member & I can live with that There's a lot of numbers over here & it is a bit overwhelming at 1st glance (and it's sorted by money/click because that seemed the best one to use) so take a couple of minutes & read it all over & hopefully I've made it as easy as possible to read & understand. http://www.greenguysboard.com/greeng.../06-april.html OH! Almost forgot about a problem that I found while I was gathering the data. 2 programs were not paying on rebills Coalixxxion Cash (aka Samba Cash) does clearly stats on their site "50% Per Signup" & it says nothing about paying on rebills. I've emailed them & asked why they do not pay on rebills & they have no replied Shame on me for not reading the site properly & assuming that they paid on rebills like every other revshare program. Depraved Dollars had my account messed up & I was not getting paid on the rebills with them either But once I contacted them, they looked into it & took care of the problem so that it won't happen again (and a check is on it's way to me for the missing rebills) Seems that I signed up during beta & the program was set up to not pay on rebills by mistake. When they made the correction in their admin, they did not know that it would not automatically change the current affiliates. So if you signed up to their program before February 2005, double check that you're getting rebills. Again, the problem was solved quickly & I am still using them |

Gosh GG, you have lots of time invested in this. Thanks for doing it. I think this analysis could be as valuable to sponsors ad to affiliates.

I am very happy with our retention numbers, and the opportunity to see where we stand with some others. |

Nice work! This is going to be very useful, gonna take some time to digest it all.
On the handful of sites that I also promote I noticed a bit of a trend. You had a better initial rebill %, but I had a higher $ per signup. Not sure what that means yet. |

In looking at those programs in more detail I see another issue that's difficult to include in the stats. Some of them have recurring billing on their 3 month and 6 month subscriptions. A few of those that rebill a couple of times will really skew the $ per signup when compared to programs whose longer subscriptions don't recur.

Isn't the most important thing how was is made say after 12 months or some time frame like that?

How much was made is of course the bottom line, but without posting the actual $$$ earned comparisons need to be viewed with consideration for the various signup and rebill options for each program and how the differences may effect the numbers listed.
As an example, for my top $$$ sponsor for the last 12 months, only 29% of revenue came from recurring signups and rebills. The remaining 71% came from non-recurring signups. Last edited by Toby; 2006-03-31 at 07:31 PM.. |

Percent Of Money Made From One Time Signups Percent of Money Made From Trial/Recurring Signups I'm also looking into including these for the next run: Percent Currently Active Longest Rebill In Months Percent Chargebacks/Refunds All those might help things out a bit BUT! Give me credit for one thing...PLEASE! This is a lot better then looking at a list like like this: Program 1 - 1:459 Program 2 - 1:574 Program 3 - 1:1024 |

But this one was not as hard as I thought it was gonna be. 60 programs all with the same admin made it go pretty quickly. The next run - probably Revshare/NoTrial/1st Page - is gonna be a hoot to compile |

Looking at your stats vs my stats just made me realize how much minor differences in payment options can effect the numbers. I'm a bit of a stats junkie, gotta do something with all that math and statistics I took in college. |

Toby - I thought of something else that throws yet another monkey wrench into the stats - the cost of the membership.
Let's say a site charges $20/month - anything over $20/member on average is pretty good, but that'd look bad compared to a site that charges $40/month, even if you were averaging $30-35/member on that $40 site. Too much fucking information - LOL |

Greenguy, your results provide the type of information I always look for: How much is a signup really going to be worth.
Send 100 signups @ net $15 per signup. 33% of them recur the next month @$15... and if 50% of them stay the next month, and so on..... it really helps to create a good comparision to pay per signup situations. Here is the deal: At the end of 7 months they are all gone, and you made just under $25 per signup average. It is very important, as a result, for recurring programs to retain members for a longer period of time, otherwise they are not paying you as much for the signup as programs paying $30 or $35 per signup. The information in your stats goes a long way towards giving guidance on what programs might have a chance of pulling that off. Alex |

Hi guys, well we can give to you a special partnership, paying Rebills to you! Is it fine to you? Thanks Marco, My reply: You know, most revshare programs pay 50% for the life of the member & not just on the initial sign up. I don't want to be treated special, so I'll just pull all the links. Let me know if you ever change the program for everyone that promotes it. Greenguy So there ya go - unless you're special, you only get 50% off the initial sign up |

Sorry friend, we are new in the industry, so we are trying and trying it... But you did say to me an important thing, "most revshare programs pay 50% for the life of the member & not just on the initial sign up." I am changing it right now for all my affialites on my program. thanks... New? My account is 23 months old! Oh well, I guess some good has come from this |

That's a nice list of stats you got there, very usefull I don't see latinatranny.com (no ref code ) on there though, I've only been promoting them for 5 or 6 months and make an average of $67/member
