My 1st concert ever was James Brown, in 1970. I was 15.. and probably 1 of 20 beige folks at that concert in Huntsville Alabama.
2nd time I saw him like 15 years later at the Paladium in NYC..we had 3rd row seats.. but i'd just gotten in from London and fell asleep about a 1/3 of the way thru. I was deaf for 4 days. Those of us who appreciate his music will miss him. Quote:

I thought it was funny that he was coming to play a show here in Montreal, but I was planning on going... guess thats not gonna happen now. RIP.
