i 've built a few free sites but im wondering how to make them work for me
heres one i made for adam and eve tell what you think good or bad

• Site has sidescroll at 800x600 which will cause a problem with some lists
• No title at the top of the index page
• You're are trusting too much in front page for design
• Your websites actual <title> is the same name as your sponsor
• Your enter link is tacky as Hell
• Worst of all it looks like you just downloaded two compelety different hosted galleries and linked to them.

In general this free-site is a train-wreck. Visit linklinsts, see sites that have actually been listed and take notes then try again.

1.do you mean putting a title on the page?
2.i'm under time constraints for the design but yea i do rely on frontpage.
3.isn't the title bar supposed to say the sponsors name?
4.i know its ugly. i just slapped it together
5.those are two gallerys i made so i thought it would be fine. should i build a new gallery for each new freesite?

as far as the sidescroll i'm not sure what a good setting is so everyone sees it the same

hi pigbait75,

i think you should add a title on your page, too.
Also your index haven't any Metatags or something.
Also i think you shouldn't use blue writing on green background.

Just play around with html, visit other sites, read some tutorials and forums and so on and you will get your experiences you need.

i ve changed some things here check it out and see if this is better
also i dont know how to use meta tags ive done it once but as you can see ive got alot to learn thanks for the help.

I still consider myself a newbie but could try to give you few advices.

Going from the top of the page to the bottom:

1. Site name ( different than your sponsor)
2. Banner or text ad ( avoid hardcore or enter here banners)
3. LL recips
4. ENTER
5. Banner or ad
6.2257 link or text

You've still got a side scroll at 800x600. You could try changing the main table width from 100% to 740pixels to keep things neat.

Others have commented on the first one so I will just make comments on your new one.

No title, Adam and Eve is your sponsor not a title
Recips below Enter link. This is a HUGE NO on almost all linklist rules.
Came across pics over 80k which is a no at some lists.
All this means rejection but thankfully all this is easy to fix

You are allowed 3 outgoing links to sponsors but I only come across 1 lonely little banner within you whole site. If that is the way you want it thats fine. If you have a sale with that I would be completely surprised. You also have no text on your site so whats the search engines suppose to chew on. Add sales spill, anything is better than nothing.

I still do not see a title on the site which IS required at alot of lists. Other than that it looks clean.

You really need to add some selling text for a couple of reasons. First text/descriptions about a site or product sell better than banners. Two it give the search engines something to chew on.

what about a meta tag would that be good enough to give somthing for the search engine? if i need to add more text now i would be chopping the page up again which isnt really hard but if it needs to be done.
i thought that the link you submit it to would post it and thats how it is found through thier pages. as far as a title i dont want it to be a list of keywords becuase it is after all for adam and eve. again if thats what needs to be done. i needs to get paid

I am not an seo person. What I do know is that meta tag is not enough. The engines like to read text on a page to tell if its relevant to what the surfer requests.

You will receive hits from the lists for the people that go there. But you also want a surfer to come across your site from one of the big engines like google, msn and yahoo. You will only get that by writing on your page.

Take a look at some sites at LOR or others to get a feel for what is done. Also look in the seo section of this board and read some of the posts for more info on this matter.

You dont need to make the title a list of keywords, You can call that particular site: Pornstar Strip Shows or Stripping Pornstars or or or or or....

I am not very creative with names, but I always come up with something

Think every one covered it. But as Justrobert mentioned, your ads could really use some help. You could be wasting time building sites if the surfers are not pulled to the sponsor from your ads.
