Anyone have a contact for Sunwave/ProTGP
Been trying to contact this host for months now with no luck, anyone have a contact that works?
Starting to think I'll need to charge back 3 months of hosting.

Are you having issues with them??
I have someone working for me that can't see a portion of my sites or ftp to my server. His internet provider said that sunwave has him blocked. He has been trying for almost a week to contact them with no response. I find it hard to believe that its them since he can access 75% of the sites I did get in contact with them about 6 weeks ago to increase my storage capacity without any issues but this has me a bit worried. |

I'm just trying to cancel my account, I've never had a problem with them until now.
Did you use their web-based contact form or their email support@?

lol.
After getting fucked from an annual renewal clause hidden in a Jupiter Hosting contract and paying for 11 months of hosting I didn't want, I analyzed every bit of their contract (and followed the instructions for cancelling my account to a T) just to make sure I wasn't going to get billed again. My often lacking brain overlooked the most simple thing, but customer support should still reply to emails. Thanks dunc!

After talking with VirgoHippy I realized I made the changes about 3 months ago, not 6 weeks like I originally stated. Time flys. I spoke with Donna at Sunwave by phone 510-889-5200 when I dealt with them last. Thou messages have not been answered there either at this time. |

As Robert mentioned, I was able to get in touch with Donna. I also got a response to my trouble ticket from Alan yesterday.
Still waiting to get the problems fixed, but my confidence has gone up a bit.

Thanks vh and JR, I guess they don't like losing long-term customers. I hate phones and being in a different time zone doesn't help. I've removed my credit card details, thanks to dunc, so hopefully I don't get billed for yet another month of hosting I haven't used.
Experience has taught me that hosting companies have got to be one of the worst, most predatory entities around. They're on par with used car salesmen and real estate agents.
