I need some advice for my newb blog.

Hello. I have a very low quality blog I would like to enhance bit by bit. I have the most elementary posts, little content, no links, nothing. If anyone could suggest a small or large option I should use, please do. I am learning illustrator so I can design a logo. Should I implement movies? Should I use multiple thumbs per post? Should I have links set up asap? Let me know if you feel like it, Thanks in advance - Pete

It's actually a pretty good start. I didn't read the text but there is some there so it can't be too bad.

I did notice you seem to have a small issue with your template. The side bar looks pushed out a bit and I'd try to spice up the header a little.

Do that and add a few more posts and you should be ready to setup some link trades and submit to some blog directories.

On a side note, I have personally found it difficult to maintain a blog based on a single personality. I just find it difficult to make each post unique.

Thanks for responding. I got some homework to do. You talk about yourself in 3rd person? Some really smart dude lol. I will start some things up and post back here in a lil bit with an update. Thanks.

The blog is realy not bad, I like the color palette. The header could be even a littl bit better quality and you should remove the default stuff from the sidebar

Wow those colors really pop.

You aren't using the sidebar very well at all. Definitely get rid of that generic blogroll junk and start getting some link trades going. If you aren't going to make galleries and submit places lose the pages section too. If you can get rid of that weird unlabeled search box I would too. The site is about one model. What are they going to search for?

Also you should make some text in your post clickable to the same gallery or a join page. Thats my two cents.

Of course, those movies in a flash player are quite nice and surfers like them to. But it is more work then a simple blog post with a picture.

Yes, submit to a couple blog directories and do some link trading and let that search engine find your blog and earn $ while you are making your blog.
