I don't condemn their going for it on 4th and 2, I think it would have been real close on a challenge.
I will never understand wasting 2 timeouts on that series though (what was with Brady's timeout on first down?) |

One of the first times I've seen Brady and Belichick screw up like that with the timeouts like they did. I think they would have lost a challenge anyway. Belichick has gone for it so many times it wasn't a huge surprise they went for it but it was a bad idea as it turns out.
Great 4th quarter!! |

Once again I will never doubt the Colts as long as Manning is QB, I really thought all the close calls the Colts have had this season finally caught up with them, all the injuries and rookies its only a matter of time they lose a game, but this win was huge. |

Belichick should have let the Colts run it in immediately after getting the turnover. Then Brady would have had time to get it down field for a field goal.
Neither of these teams are healthy enough (the patriots have had more injuries on defense than the colts) or balanced enough right now to win the superbowl, and I'm not sure about the Saints because they had a pretty sloppy game against St Louis. Minnesota looks like the only really balanced team especially with Farr at the helm and only have to basically manage, but I'd be suspicious of thinking they will be there either. |

They have to kick it away and make Peyton come the whole length of the field rather than give him a short field. Gotta give the Colts credit they still had to score.

Question is . . . . Can you get a half Manning half Brees jersey?

And I would be about 50.1% rooting for the Colts, it would be a very stressful game for me, but reality is, I would be happy either way. I can't help but notice no one else has made projections other than Minnesota with Farr... whoever that is. |

I project it won't be the Colts or the Saints or Minnesota...
Colts just had their superbowl Saint's have not playoff experience and can't handle the pressure. Minnesota might get their but will probably lose... Your best bets now would be New England (because of this game) San Diego(because it's about fucking time!) Cincinnati (because I'm laughing harder writing this than most people did about the patriots upsetting the Rams or the Giants upsetting the patriots that many years later) Pittsburgh (because the quarterback has one ring more than Manning and one less than Brady) I mean seriously, if you can predict one team getting in the superbowl you're fucking Nostradameus don't even try for two LOL. |

On another note did you see that idiot play by Jones-Drew kneeling down instead of walking in for the touchdown? They were DOWN 1 point... imagine a bad snap or blocked punt and anything when going to make the field goal with no time left. They lose. Not smart!!

When the Colts were down 17 points I thought it was over. I'm just glad I kept watching it to the end. GREAT GAME and a dumb call on 4th down
