Another day of having antibiotics kicking my ass but at least they are doing their job and I'm feeling almost back to my bitchy self.

Who says that women can't make up their minds... First we were going to DC for my birthday but then we changed to going to Boston when we found out that our friend in DC only had a studio apartment but then we decided to go to the Keys and avoid the hassles of flying but now we have decided to buy a couple of kayaks and a trailer to haul them instead. We are going this Sunday to Jeff's Kayaks to shop some more but right now it is looking like we are going to get two Scupper Pros along with the Yakima Rack and Roll trailer.

Good morning world

Another day of rubbing 3 or 4 scripts together to create magic.

Cleo - have you looked at any of the clear or glass bottom kayaks? Google for some links and pics. Might be interesting with our waters.

Wishing everyone a day completely filled with hours, and just enough, but not too many.

The trouble with them is they are like peddling bricks as they are wide and short. We are looking for something that will get us quickly out to the reefs for snorkeling. The Scupper was designed for diving and snorkeling and gets great reviews. Scupper Pro is actually out of production so if we can't find two of them we are planning on getting the RTM Tempo which is made from the same mold.

Of course we may change our minds again after visiting one or two more kayak stores...

Yeah, most of them are kind of roundish. But there are some which seem to be longer and thinner. Particularly the folding Napali and even the inflatable Hanauma I and II, both from Clear Blue Hawaii. But the Scupper Pro or RTM Tempo may be better for trips out to the reef and back.

OK, I found the price of the clear one. It's actually a two person kayak, something we would like to get in the future as we sometimes rent tandems.

The ironic this is we are having to spend more on a kayak trailer then the kayaks as neither of our cars, Corvette and Scion TC can use a roof rack.

Ugh, so after my wife cleaned up the barf yesterday morning and then head out to work the cats barfed all over the place. So we locked them up last night to contain them and they didn't throw up...instead my dog decided to puke al over the living-room. Grrrr I hate cleaning barf out of carpet... I'm starting to hate all of them!

So other than cleaning up barf today, it's work all day and probably watch a movie with the kids tonight, unless we decide that playing the Wii is more important.

One word, tile.

There is not one inch of carpet in my house anymore. I even got rid of the throw rugs as our pets would walk past the tile and puke on the throw rugs.

Well, you won't sure save money getting two of the Napali models I mentioned, but they do break down into a size you can put in a backpack.

Not sure if a clear kayak makes us look more or less delectable to the shark surging up from the depths to strike the middle of the kayak with his mouth wide open at 30 miles an hour...but it sure would be a hell of a view from the paddler's side.
