And Lord, we are especially thankful for nuclear power, the cleanest, safest
energy source there is. Except for solar, which is just a pipe dream |
Morning all
coffee is on Sorry to here about your dog Jim, good thing pups bounce back so fast. I lost my dog to cancer about 2 months ago and it still really hurts bad I kinda have to laugh though, as I couldn't imagine how my 125lb Rottie could even get on the table. I think he would have broke the table not his legs Oh and this is not a joke either, have you considered getting insurance for your dog? Might sound stupid but if you encounter any health issues then alot of it is covered depending on the insurance you choose. My wifes youger sister bought a Wheinmarauner (fuck I can't spell that, you know the grey dogs!) and purchased insurance and we made fun of her when she forked out 30 bucks a month. 5 years later Atlas ( my rottie) gets diagnosed with cancer and, we paid almost 15 thousand dollars last year for him on chemo. It would not have covered it all, but the vet figured even on the small insurance package that the wifes sister was on would have knocked off half. You just never know when something will happen. Whew...I need a drink of water my voice is sore |

Hope your dog is OK Jim. One of ours broke a leg last year (puppy at the time) by falling down the steps off the front deck. Ended up with it in a cast for weeks, after it was taken off he still walked around for a couple weeks on three legs. He's fine now.

Personally, I'd get anything by Viewsonic or Samsung. I'm thinking of getting two 19" LCD monitors soon too, now that they're dropping in price. I could really use the deskspace these CRTs are hogging up.

I've heard good things about the Dell flat screens both in price and quality. Some Mac users that I know that are budget minded bought Dell displays instead of the Apple ones since they were a bit cheaper.
My neighbor has the Apple 30", the thing is fucking awesome. My two year old laptop can't drive it so I would need to buy the new high end Apple laptop and then buy the screen. But I would have a two monitor setup with enough desk space for even the high end video apps. How much can you sell a kidney for these days? |

That should answer your question and if it doesn't, GG is based out of the Eastern Time Zone, and usually without Daylight Savings Time we here in the Eastern Time Zone are -5 GMT. I guess with DST we are -4 hours now?? Hope this helps.

It looks like our dog is going to be ok with just the cast. Well, that is what the surgeon said after looking at xrays. We have to take her about an hour from here Monday to make sure.

What a day at the beach today. Sunny, thin clouds, just enough for the sun to break through and warm. Large thermos of coffee and way too many hours down there and we didn't even manage to solve one earthly problem |
