Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand!

Domain names and whois
Is there a way to make it so that your name, address ect doesn't show up when doing a whois without making it private?

Your registrar should be able to help you with that, but if you're in the freesite game many LLs won't accept submissions from WMs with hidden whois.

Yes take it from me. I have been rejected because I thought in the adult biz you kept your personal information hidden. I used domains by proxy and got kicked to the curb by most of the LL's. A lesson learned the hard way. I think even if I had my own LL I would not use proxy to hide my info. Some LL's have a category for LL's so thats my take.

I asked a similiar question a while back and the answer for making it public is mostly because were all in a legit business so we shouldn't be hiding, but more importantly, if your info is hidden, you can circumvent the submission rules mainly the number of submissions allowed per day...

Where there's a will, I want to be in it.

Change of address forms are available at your local post office. There are all sorts of reasons for private whois info. I don't automatically reject for that. It does make me take a little closer look at the sites though.
