What's YOUR fastest freesite sale?

This question is mostly geared towards freesite builders and submitters (no discrimination intended here) and not so much towards linklist owners.

The fastest refers to end of submission. To those of you that don't exactly understand what the hell I'm getting at, let me explain.

Let's say you built your freesite at say, oh I dunno, monday. You then submitted it monday at oh, 5 PM. It got listed not much longer after that. And for example you recorded your first sale at say 7PM say that day. That would make it 2 hours. Got it?

Share your success!

I'll go first.

8 hours

Congrats! That's great!

Too bad it was just one though.

You kids are always fast...that how you end up tired and covered with cheetos

I don't build for speed but I've had sales on sites where from the time I came up with the concept til my first sale was close to 3 hours. Of course those sites are on my hubs so I don't need to wait to have them listed...even by myself

wow 2 hours, that's amazing

I think that would just get me too excited, then I'd crash when it didn't get any more
I'd have to say somewhere around 7-8 hours, I remember one where I submitted at nite & had a sale when I got up the next day. Doesn't happen that fast usually tho, I actually get a lot more on ones that have been around for months with nothing, then all of a sudden a bunch of sales

on a side note, I just got an acceptance email for a site subbed back the end of Jan (!) - I love those, it's fun to see a little burst of traffic & I usually get a sale or two off that.

boy I'm really verbalizing today hehe

Well the very first site I ever made and submitted got a sale in three hours. I thought wow this is going to be easy money...... I've since learned it's far from easy. Normally I don't see a sale till the next day at the earliest.

If I knew the answers to these questions it would make me a compulsive stats checker. I try only to check my sales about once/week.

I'll make short list of variables and you tell me how many sales on a particular site. These are the variables:

What time of year do you take it live?

Which of the 200+ niche is it?

Is it a LL site or a hub site?

Did you build for SE?
a. if so which SE?
b. if you build for all the major SE's how many are there?

Is the site something on the SEMSFT list?

Promoting new school or old school?

Promoting with graphics or text? or a combination of the two?

Most importantly what is you time worth? Can you build one killer site a month that converts like crazy? What does that amortize to over 30 days?

Those a just a few factors to take into consideration when building and asking about sites.

Remember to get the right answer you need to ask the right question. I can only speak for myself but if you ask me vague questions I will give you vague answers

The fastest sale with free site was submitting my very first free site to GG and getting a sale after 40 clicks. "That's too easy" was what I thought, and sure enough, that's probably the 2nd to last sale that site ever made.

With a hub type page, I got a sale on a slow traffic page 8 clicks after i put up the link.

What I meant to ask was what is the most amount of sales you have had from one freesite.

The freesites I was talking about are the ones you submit to Linklists (1 warning page, main page, 2 galleries. Sorry for been vague.

Things like which niche, time of year etc I'm not interested in. This is just to see what your best ever number of sales was, just for a bit of fun.

Not too sure what your talking about when you say making one awesome site in a month, a freesite only takes a few hours at most to make and submit to all the LLs. If your thinking about any sort of porn site that you could make then yeah it different but I think were all talking about the small freesites you submit to LLs.

That is what were all talking about right?

I have a freesite I submitted to an LL that doesn't delete your listing, it stays archived forever. I've made hundreds of sales from it and continue to make sales. I don't know the exact number because it has spanned more than 6 years. Probably over $5,000 at least.
