NO! Im not a female - but being a dragon, I do eat them.

Hmmm - I always thought MIVA prohibited adult and gambling etc in their ads - they were supposed to be the ad solution alternative to google adsense, of companies that wanted to make sure their ads didnt show on adult sites

That is the impression I got. Unless I am mistaken, which has happened once or twice before, Miva is the adult side of SearchFeed.

I've been thinking about it more and more, and I think Miva is the parent company of SearchFeed. When I said they were the adult side of the company, I didn't mean they only did adult. But Miva has a new adult product so I know for a fact they are into adult.

I had some success using their PPC advertising for our Rx sites. Actually been thinking of doing another small campaign with them. What info were
you looking for about Miva? |

Thanks for the input everyone and Lowry, you may have a PM coming your way... tomorrow.
Anything really, I'm always curious about legit SEM companies. A good start is knowing that they're legit, because the other's have not proven to be so. |

MIVA is the result of a merger with FindWhat.com and Espotting.com.
My search terms are usually quite competitive, however, the bidding even before the merger have always been low compared to Adwords and Yahoo! Search Marketing. Normally I put $25 in the account and it lasts 60-90 days. As compared to Adwords which is 1 day and Yahoo 7 days. That’s the pay per click advertising. Have not done the pay per call advertising yet. $1.50 a call is a little steep and I am unclear on the Ingenio connection. |

Are those two companies also owned by Searchfeed.com? I had a phone conversation on Friday with the business development manager at searchfeed and he told me that Miva was their parent company. And that they were going to be doing their adult side. The pay per call advertising, are you talking about arxadult.com? That is an interesting product, but i'm kind of confused as to how it works... |

Nevermind, if the other two merged to form Miva, then they own searchfeed i guess. Got myself a little confused as I just had me a few tokes...

Tried a few small PPCs. Worked out not too bad. Added more, and after a few weeks, traffic went to garbage. 90% non-english.
Also had similar problem with another lower tier PPC-SE, and a lot of the traffic sources are the same. |

Are you sure this is the Sci-Fi Convention? It's full of nerds!

I was going to try them out for mainstreme products but a few mates of mine showed me they had shite results with the traffic so I passed.
