How to test server speed?

Just moved to a new server and was wondering the best way to test if they are fast enough or not?

Did a bunch of tgp submits last night and one site gave me an error saying my server was too slow. Not that i realy trust the little bots that scan submissions, often times when you get an error and just submit again it'll go through or a different error comes up.

And Lord, we are especially thankful for nuclear power, the cleanest, safest
energy source there is. Except for solar, which is just a pipe dream

there are a few sites out there that can help you, here's one, I checked one of my tgp's, I think it was .64 seconds for the warning page. I'm on a dedicated server
