Sleepy OK - This Is Cool (How'd They Do It?)

I searched Google for "strange sex laws in the us" for this thread & came across this page:
http://digitaljournal.com/article/253517

So I highlighted & copied the title of the article from the page & then pasted it into the reply box & this is what showed up:

Quote:
Weird Sex Laws In America: Real Laws On The Books Of Justice

I thought that I might have accidentally copied some extra text, but I didn't. I tried it a few more times with other text on the page:

Quote:
Differences in federal and state laws are nothing new, and legal battles over a state’s liberal laws regarding sexual behavior making news every day. What about those sex laws that just don’t make the headline news?

Florida:
-two people cannot commit "unusual acts" together
-illegal to have sexual relations with a porcupine
-it an offense to shower in the nude

Quote:
Minnesota:
sleeping naked is illegal
illegal for men to have intimate sexual relationships with a live fish

No matter what I copy & paste, it always adds the URL with (I assume) a tracking code.

Has anyone ever seen this before? How are they doing it?

I've always found that rather annoying.

This page does it too.

I'm guessing that it is done by one of the many Javascripts that I see on it.

One of the newspapers here use that to try ensuring linkbacks if you are quoting their stories!
