I have decided that I have far too much time on my hands, so I will begin sending rejection notices for declined free sites at Whoring Wives. This seems like a pretty good way for submitters to learn my likes and dislikes, and I'm hoping that this will result in the need to reject fewer sites for easily avoided issues. (Not to mention my constant need for attention) |thumb

The URL to this thread will be sent with each rejection notice that I choose to send.

Notice that I'm not sending rejection letters on Filthy Earl. That would be a hassle cause I reject most of what is submitted to Earl.

My script isn't that advanced. I just had to do some copying and pasting and minor alterations so that I could add the choice of 'Reject w/ Reason'. I still needed the ability to silently decline (especially since I accept galleries) and that option was not built in. It was either no rejection emails or everyone gets one.

I haven't been rejected...just couldn't pass up a chance to call you a rotten bastard :D

When I modified the script so that I could send rejection notices, I first tested it with the acceptance email template, which is sent for every accepted gallery and free site. Oops. I forgot to change the subject line back to 'Accepted' when I was done screwing around, so everyone who was accepted today received an email with the subject 'Submission Declined - Please Read'. If you read the email, you would have seen that your site was actually accepted. Sorry for the mixed signals. I'm an idiot. If I had a day job, I wouldn't quit it.

Some lists do allow Flash banners, but the general consensus is that it's not a good idea. It can be used for evil, so we just tend to avoid it.

I do not wish to the contribute to evil uses! It was fun watching them wiz around, though. Usually I dont' like flash, but that's more along the line of site entrances that go on forever...and ever...and ever...and don't have a "click here to avoid this mess" link.

UW you should just send the link to that post that was here a few days ago about someone complaining they got a rejection mail that said something like "dont submit your shit to me" lol I think its funny tho cause you see some complain they dont get them then you see ones who complain when they do. lol. I think iggystick said it best . SUBMIT and forget, if you dont get listed move on.
