The only good thing about a high page rank is that Google will send their spider a little more frequently to a higher PR page, and dig a little deeper on the links on those pages...good for getting...

Jeremy :) There are still a lot of little directories out there that use DMOZ's results, so if anything it just counts as more backlinks to your sites from more sites.

Jeremy..Google still pulls a feed from DMOZ for its directory...when it can get one...it tends to be way behind :)
There are alot of other smaller directories that mirror the DMOZ data that are good...
