Part of the function of an original recip is branding. If everything is standardized you lose that element. Personally I always use whatever recip the LL owner provides. Sometimes I have to tweak it...

If a recip screws up the look of your table try to tweak it a little (if it's a text recip). Most LL owners won't mind (I think ;) ) as long as you don't butcher it completely.
