I used to belong to a whisky of the month club, Got a different bottle of single malt scotch every month. Trouble was that although they were good whiskies, they were expensive (over $100 per bottle, sometimes over $200) so I had to give up.
But I got through some damn fine scotch, sometimes very rare stuff (occasionally, for example, you would get whisky from distilleries that had been closed for 10 or 20 years).
